show us your boat/seats

We love when we receive photos of our seats, covers, and more on your boats! Below are some of the recent ones we’ve received. If you’re looking for a couple tips on taking even better photos checkout our small guide below.

1. Put the light (sun) in the right place

Good lighting makes every photo look professional — no editing needed.

Keep the sun behind you (and behind your phone), not behind the boat. That way, the seats and details stay bright, not washed out or shadowy.

Morning or evening light works best — it’s softer, warmer, and brings out the color and stitching of your ButtRaxx seats beautifully.

Pro Tip: Don’t shoot straight into the sun unless you’re going for a silhouette. You’ll lose all that beautiful texture.

2. Use the rule of 3rds

Centering isn’t always better — give your photo some flow.

Imagine your screen split into nine boxes — 3×3 grid. Line the boat or horizon up with one of those dividing lines instead of the middle.

This adds movement, space, and a more natural feel to your shots — perfect for showing off your boat in its element.

Pro Tip: Try placing your boat lower in the frame so the sky or waterline tells part of the story.

3. Adjust your phone's settings

Your phone camera is better than you think — you just have to unlock its potential.

Switch to Pro, Portrait, or HDR mode before shooting. This keeps the focus sharp, balances bright sunlight, and makes every detail pop.

If your phone lets you tap to focus — tap the seats or the logo area before snapping. That’s where the magic (and the craftsmanship) is.

Pro Tip: Wipe your lens first — even the best cameras can’t see through sunscreen smudges.
